All Hiking Tours

A sea kayaking day tour between the mountains around the town of Ísafjörður in the Icelandic Westfjords

Almost everyone can participate in the Calm Water Kayaking tour which is perfect for beginners. This day trip is available all year round in Ísafjörður, which has earned its reputation as the sea kayaking center of Iceland due to the endless possibilities for kayaking in the fjords and bays that are close by yet still so remote. Paddling under the magnificent mountains that tower over Ísafjörður, you will  experience the closeness of nature and the beauty of the landscape from an exciting angle and in a safe environment.

We begin with a short lesson in paddling, put the boats out behind the Maritime Museum and then paddle within the fjord while keeping a sharp lookout for various bird species and seals.
