Biking in Iceland, in the Southern Westfjords is an exciting and wonderful experience.

From Tálknafjörður we will cycle to Sveinseyri, an area known for its magnificent bird life and white sandy beaches.

We will visit Sellátrar, a remote old abandoned farm that is now used as a summer cabin. The next stop will be Arnarstapi which is said to be an energy center where you can recharge your spiritual energy. Perhaps this energy is why, although it is quite difficult for trees to grow in this region, you will find the western-most grove in Europe in Arnarstapi. Up until 1930, the shore just below Arnarstapi was a popular place for fishermen to row out on sea and the remains of their huts can still be seen along the coast.

We´ll relax after the bicycle tour with a visit to the hot spring pool at Pollurinn, located in the hillside just outside the village of Tálknafjörður, and admire the extraordinary view over the fjord.

On this tour you will get up close and personal with nature and a variety of bird life making it a great tour for nature lovers and photographers alike.
